Since we started sharing an office last week, Cathy and I have started to notice just how much crap we have - files, clothes, food, and other random bits. In particular we have noticed how much rubbish we accrue every week.
Last night on The Checkout was an item on e-waste. I was horrified at the piles of computer junk and quietly congratulated myself on my refusal to ever upgrade my phone or buy a new computer (won't be so proud when it shits itself and I don't have a back up of anything).
And then I thought of my rubbish bin, piled with coffee cups and food wrappings from the week and felt a little less pious.
Cathy and I decided to try and clean up our act a bit. She's organising an office order of Keep Cups, which will help us cut out the paper coffee cups.
And we're going to start this blog, to keep us vigilant!
Here's my contribution for the week - lots of banana skins, coffee cups, and tissues. I note the bircher muesli I had should have been washed and recycled... oops. The recycling is looking quite healthy, which means I've no doubt printed multiple things I didn't need.
Over to you, Miss Cathy.
